  21. Someone posted a message saying what's the big deal about Photoshop. Well
  22. I've used both and I prefer Photoshop.

  24. As with anything, it all depends on what you're going to use it for. Since
  25. I don't do anitmation on anything other than the PAR, DPaint's animation
  26. feature are of no consequence to me. Photoshop has many 3rd party plug-ins
  27. that give it incredible power. Photoshop is more of an image processing
  28. program that paint program.

  30. As far as batching goes, at least on the Mac side there is a free program
  31. (was commercial) called Photomatic that lets you do batch processing with
  32. Photoshop. As far as touching up scanned images, or doing work in layers
  33. and saving in layers, Photoshop is THE best I've seen.

  35. I love my Amiga, but sometimes you have to realize that depending on what
  36. you're doing, there ARE better programs on better platforms.
